Yesterday, our CEO Andrew Lorimer spoke at the ‘Logistics Hub’ forum at the Fruit Logistica fair. The event, which took place in Berlin, Germany, is one of the largest fairs in the world aimed at the international market for fruits and other fresh perishables.
At the event, Andrew was invited to speak about ‘Protein vs. Fresh Produce: perishable logistics priorities in Brazil – China Factor.’ It included important insights for the market, raising logistical issues with regard to China that developed during the pandemic that helped squeeze out Brazil`s reefer container exports in favor of dry cargo. He also raised several important factors to consider in trying to predict trends for the future of Brazil`s perishable’s logistics outlook.
